Patricia Gaongalelwe Baloyi is a registered psychologist who served as a nurse for about 26 years before pursuing a new career path in Industrial Psychology. She did her:

• General nursing with the Lebone College of Nursing.
• Midwifery with the Baragwanath College of Nursing.
• Paediatric nursing with the Ga-Rankuwa College of Nursing.
• Administration and Community nursing with the University of Pretoria.
• BA (health and social services) specialisation –Applied psychology for professional contexts with the University of South Africa.
• BA Honours in Industrial Psychology with the University of South Africa.
• Masters degree in Industrial Psychology with the University of Johannesburg.
• Internship with the Military Institute of Psychology.

Gaongalelwe considers herself to be an approachable person who finds interacting with people a pleasure. She is able to work well with people across different ethnicities. Integrity, honesty and loyalty are her strong points. She also finds it easy to adapt to different working situations and can work under pressure. She is a strong team player.

Gaongalelwe gained extensive experience of working with people in public hospitals. Her human resource experience includes organisational development, team development, training and development, post analysis, selection, career counselling/guidance, coaching, recruitment, selection, placement, performance management, job profiling, job design and evaluation, change management, strategic planning and management, diversity management, culture and climate surveys, skills development, Employee wellness and more.
